"Rented a 2 bedroom suite and was given a room that looked like they slid a sofa in last minute to make seem like a suite, they were doing construction and worked until 9:45 pm, I went to front desk at 9 and asked how much longer they would be working loudly and was rudely told they are done for day but then continued for another 45min to an hour, we had room booked for 2 days but left after 1 night, horrible hotel."

"It has been a long time since I've had such an enjoyable time staying in a hotel and will recommend this place to everyone heading to the Mount Rushmore area. All staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean. The beds/pillows were comfortable. The rooms were quiet - we didn't hear any neighbors at all. The bathroom was clean and the shower head was awesome. It was so nice to have the full size pumps of shampoo/conditioner and body wash, but it was really awesome to have the hand soap...

"I will say, the only reason I am not giving this a better rating is because nowhere on the website or when we made the reservation were we told that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations, and the key amenities we were looking for (namely the swimming pool for our kids, and the hot fresh breakfasts) were not going to be available. I don't care how friendly the staff is, or how nice the rooms, when this level of restriction is not publicized prior to booking, it is an extremely poor look...
