"The hotel was in need of some tender loving care. It had clearly been a formidable building in its day and stood in extensive grounds but 3 centuries of wear have not been kind.
There was no problem with cleanliness and the staff were excellent. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived.
We chose this hotel because of the leisure facilities and we were not disappointed. The swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were invigorating. The steam room was out of order during our stay but that did not...

"This is a standard, mid-range hotel on a business park.
Telford town centre is a 10-minute walk away. It is a modern retail centre, dominated by the big brands with no independent shops/restaurants/pubs. Fine, if that's your thing.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was generous but standard.
