Located on an Island in the California Delta VERY CLOSE TO THE GRAND ISLAND MANSION, and Lodi Vineyards. This vacation home has so much charm you will need to come back, again and again, to take it all in. Two (2) private boat docks, nice size yard with deck and lawn, master suite with sofa, game table, balcony, 85inch flat screen TV for movie night. Two (2) bedrooms downstairs with seating areas. Jetted tub in bathroom, fireplace in the bedroom, wood-burning stove in the family room, washer and dryer, sheets, towels, Central heat and air, Out door dining table for 6, 2 lounge chairs and fire pit.

Absolutely amazing. We have stayed many place but this is one we will be going back again and again. Talk about a stress reductionā€¦this is the place. Very well stocked with ever you may need. The kitchen is perfect. Heck the whole house is amazing. Watching the boaters was a treat.

Grandson loves to fish. This was perfect anytime of the day.

Delta summer trip

We had a great stay boating and going out to eat on the River. Very convenient for boating and the House was great. Back yard grass needed to be cut, but otherwise a wonderful time and we will be back next summer.

2nd time we stayed here. Great house and location. The dock outside the door is a huge draw. Unfortunately, the tides weren't in our favor and could not get the boat in or out for the majority of the day (11a - 4p) for 5 days due to low tide. Boat sat in the mud at the dock for hours.

Very nice open format that lets you enjoy the beautiful river view. Only complaints are that there were no directions for the stove which was new and we had never used this kind before and the dvd player was not hooked up and ready to use. It is a very good & private location which led to a very good relaxing time.

Nice place on the Delta

We had a 4 night stay to attend a wedding at the Grand Island Mansion which is actually over 10 miles away on narror poor roads with no lights so the drive was long. The home was ok, had ramdom personal items scattered all over and not the cleanest. Beds were very comfortable and linens & towels were clean. Unfortunately the yard was unusable with grass and weeds 2 ft high. Host was apologetic and refunded me 175. I think I was disappointed because I was hoping for a beautiful place and yard for my sons wedding weekend.

Rolling on the River

I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home situated on a small private island along the Sacramento River. The neighborhood was an unexpected gem, filled with luxury homes and serene surroundings. The house itself was well-updated, tastefully furnished, and boasted an incredible river viewā€”a perfect retreat.The only minor inconvenience was that some dishes were not clean upon arrival. However, the dishwasher quickly resolved this, so it didnā€™t detract from the overall experience. A heads-up for future visitors: thereā€™s ongoing roadwork nearby that could cause delays and detours, so be sure to check traffic updates in advance.All in all, this was a wonderful stay, and Iā€™d gladly return on my next trip to the area. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property!

We had a small family gathering for the holidays, and it was just perfect. The home was large and comfortable, with lovely views of the water. We heard owls and coyotes nearby! Check in and out were a breeze. Would definitely recommend. One item - if you're not used to remote country roads, make sure to arrive during daylight hours - it's DARK out there!

Delta Diversion

Winter vacations in the Bay Area can be difficult to judge weatherwise. We got very lucky that the 2 full days were beautifully clear and mild after a very wet check-in day. We came to enjoy a Thanksgiving retreat before the actually Thanksgiving holiday crush. The house and surroundings are very nice. We did want to do some cooking using the oven and found that were only 2 loaf pans for oven cooking. The stove top has 2 full sets of pots and pans, which was more than enough. Also, not sure what was happening with the television, but it kept "rebuffering" every time we wanted to watch something, so long pauses in viewing, and that became frustrating. I'm sure these are simple fixes. Love this house and hope to come again.

Magical Island Stay

4 Adults and 2 children visited one day. Excellent dock for fishing. Nice outdoor area to enjoy the river and watch ships go by. Had another terrific stay

I am not sure if this is the 5th or 6th year we have rented this house, but this year we rented the house for 10 days and over that time had family and friends visit and all had a fabulous time. This property is so unique, and a real positive is the location on the Old Sacramento River and the dock. Of particular apeal is the access to the river, as we and our friends are active boaters. This is a tidal area, and at low tide the dock is in pretty shallow, but perfect for kayaking, etc. We brought out sailboat and anchored right off the house, and used a dinghy to ferry ourselves back and forth. Gina as always was fabulous, and always available when I needed her.

Perfect place for boat and annual vacation

We wanted a couple of nights to have a little r&r, only thing that was a little annoying was the neighbor was have having tractor work that started at 7 am and went till 2-3 pm. Other than that the house was amazing great location. Great fishing and dinner on the patio was great!

Family fun

Our first time staying on the Sacramento River and what a great time it was. The boating, fishing and location was amazing. The had just about every thing you need and the AC kept up on those 100 degree days we were there. If youā€™re bringing your boat make sure to bring an extra fender, or two, not everyone on the river follow the No Wake rules. And keep in mind the dock gets very low at low tide. Thank you Gina for being a great host and sharing your home with us,

Great place, some things to know

We have stayed here many times over the years and really love it. This time there were some differences that were disappointing. They no longer provide paper towels, wish we knew that up front. Missing hand soap in the upstairs bath. Knives were all very dull. No wine bottle opener. These are small things but still a bummer. As others have mentioned, amazing tree in the backyard is dead. The silt has really built up near the dock, so at low tide it was too shallow to dock the boat without it getting stuck in the mud, no bueno. Youā€™ll need to be out on the river at low tide, or be prepared to anchor your boat away from the dock at that time. With all that, we will still stay here again, we will just be better prepared. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Hopefully the minor issues will be resolved before our next stay.

Charming river house

We loved every second of our stay! Gina was always available if we needed her. The house was perfect and very clean compared to other properties and resorts we stayed with in the Delta. We loved this house. Great location, nice quite area. Launched boat just across the river. Owner was very quick to any question. The home is very comfortable. And well stocked. Perfect for a casual family get away. We would definitely stay here again.
