"Accommodation was adequate. Room was lovely and spacious, but had a strange smell , forcing us to open the window to the cold. Otherwise fine."

"The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment."

"Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. "The room was okay. Though to be fair clean. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. The bed had a ridge at the side so probably needs a new matress. The pillars were cheap. One was too low and two were too high. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard. Though I doubt whether the sausages were Welsh sausages. Probably cheap sausages from wholesale suppliers. "Absolutely perfect! Stunning lodge in a stunning location"

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

"Parking good, breakfast all cold"

"It was rather too warm in my room, I did mention this to the reception , but only on check out. I did not use the Bar as I was Going into town. "

"A pet friendly hotel with friendly staffunder recent new ownership. Staff friendly and approachable. Room 8 clean but a problem with the bathroom light switch which staff knew about. I will revisit if in the area again. "

"The room wasn’t bad, and nothing was inherently bad. It was relatively clean. Although, the bath panel was off, the room smelt damp, there was no hot water, the bath mat was mouldy. "

"The host greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly; assuring us that if we needed anything further to let her know. It was very well equipped: fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster, not forgetting a jug of fresh milk. Would definitely stay here again."
