This was a great place! The house was beautiful, the beach and water activities were so great! The kitchen was more than fully stocked with anything and everything you would need. The hosts were always so easy to get in touch with, with fast response times!

The facility was clean and comfortable. The road to the property is a bit rough, especially with a boat in tow, but if you like privacy, its great! The boat slip was very useful and nice. The only thing I would say, is if you have any physical difficulties with walking or shortness of breath, it is a decent climb from the boat dock back to the house. Just take your time. There are stairs most of the way, so it's not too bad. The place is located on a good part of the lake also.

Great stay

We had a group of 10 family members staying at the house. It was very spacious, clean, and we were happy with the amenities provided both inside and outside the house. The views of the lake were great! Definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent Property

The property was excellent and the owner of the property, Amanda, was very helpful and enjoyable to deal with. When I had questions, she was quick to respond. The property was clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend the property. There was room for everyone in my family so that each family member had their privacy. Our stay was without a doubt very enjoyable and beyond our expectations.

Holiday Getaway

Our family stayed at this property right after Christmas just as a little getaway and it was amazing! The house and views were beautiful! It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly think of and more that we would need. The owner stayed in close communication as well! We will definitely be going back!

Family Get Away

We booked Vista Estrella for a pre-Christmas family get together. The house is beautiful and decorated for Christmas. The view of Lake Eufaula from the back deck is amazing! We cooked all our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The house has the feel of a cabin. The house accommodated our three families very well. Our hosts communicated well with us and instructions for check in and check out were very clear. We're thankful for our three night visit! We would come back again.

Wonderful retreat from the city life

For the past ten years, a group of my favorite people and I choose a cabin that can accommodate our families for a fall getaway. The experience we want is one that appeals to all of us- hiking, water adventure, cozy dwellings, multiple areas to do group or solo activities, outdoor seating for a large group, a fire pit under the stars, and a kitchen that can facilitate group meal prepping. The Nixon's cabin far exceeded our requirements in a vacation destination, offering all of the above and more! Responsive and supportive coordination from the property manager throughout the entire experience, well thought out instructions for how to maximize the use of the property, and the most well stocked kitchen any of us has seen in a vacation rental. We all enjoyed the peaceful location and scenic views, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding around the lake, and the expanse of a home that could accommodate game nights on two floors of the house. I can guarantee we'll be back again.

Lovely Getaway on the Lake

Vista Estrella was the setting for my Dad’s 70th birthday celebration. We maxed out at 13 people and had plenty of room to sleep, hang out, etc. (We did wish for more eating space where we all could fit but we managed!) We cooked every meal at the house and the kitchen had almost everything we needed. WiFi via Starlink was great for those of us who needed it, as well as a smart TV for streaming. Nice selection of board games were available and a good stack of Nat Geos! :) We enjoyed the fire pit one night, and the back deck at all times of the day. Outdoors, the birds, butterflies, lizards, trees and flowers were all a delight to the senses. The kids, teenagers, and adventurous adults spent hours at the lake, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding (both provided and brought along) and exploring. The house was very clean when we arrived. Our hostess was super responsive and quickly answered questions and solved any problems that arose, such as our code not working upon arrival. A word to the wise: the house is very remotely situated (fortunately we planned well and never had to leave) - it is a trek along rough roads to get back to it. Also, for anyone not young and physically fit, the terrain behind the house presents its own challenges. Including the boardwalk, there are at least 100 steps down to the lake. The hillside is steep and the bank of the lake is steep with loose rocks. Just be aware and prepared. Lake shoes or sturdy water sandals are a must!

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Nice lake views and we loved the screened in porch. Although bugs weren’t an issue while we were there because of the time of year, the screened in area was nice and probably even better when the temps are warmer. We also loved being able to bring our dogs! Thanks for a great stay!!

Hidden Gem On Lake Eufala

This was definitely one of the top VRBOs I’ve stayed in. The property was beautiful and the attention to details in the cabin were top notch accommodations. Everyone’s rooms were perfect for our family’s needs and we really liked the layout of the downstairs area and two outside decks. The open air porch on the side of the kitchen was also perfect spot to enjoy the views. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with everything needed and all the extra touches made it the perfect place to sit around and enjoy our family time. I would highly recommend this cabin to a large family looking to spend some specials moments together.

Amazing Vacation Spot!

This was a well-earned 5 star rating! The Owners were extremely welcoming and full of info before our trip. The home itself was AWESOME. Beautiful view from different angles (open porch, enclosed patio, water’s edge, etc.). We had 9 people with us including a couple of 9yr old boys, couple of 18yr old girls and adults - everyone had plenty of space, privacy and a blast. We HIGHLY recommend vacationing here!

Perfect Spring Break Getaway with Family and Friends

We were blown away with this estate for our two families. Absolutely stunning. The kids had the most incredible time running around the property playing tag, making smores in the gigantic fire pit, getting the kayaks and paddle boards out in the quiet cove, fishing from the dock with easy access to the boat slip, and so much more. Too many fantastic things about this place to name. We are all excited to back!

Great VRBO

This beautiful house was large enough for our friend group of 6 to have plenty of space, while enjoying the lovely views of the lake. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, and it’s only a short walk down to the lake. Very responsive owners too. Really enjoyed our stay!

Karl's Birthday

The place was just perfect for our family to celebrate Karl's 60th birthday! Ample space for us all to have a relaxing and comfortable weekend. Everything we needed was on site and the kitchen was amazing!!! Boat slip was a big hit with the fishermen in the family! It was a wonderful celebration! Amazing stay

The property is beautiful and the lake is great but the owners went above and beyond to make this a most memorable stay. They knew we had a daughter with medical issues and did absolutely everything they could to make our stay successful. Beautiful views and lovely (very accommodating and clean) home. Loved every minute.
