"Staff was pleasant and helpful at check in. The room had a good heater. no additional blanket. no door on bathroom. Okay for us but some may want privacy. Room was clean."

"Do not stay here. The place is in need of a complete remodel or torn down and started over. Carpet was frayed and dirty, furniture all chipped & worn. Bedspread had cigarette burn holes in it. Staff was not friendly or helpful. If we had not been completely exhausted from traveling I would have demanded my money back & gone elsewhere."

"Pretty much as advertised. Clean, quiet. It says something about a lake view, ya, it’s a boat ramp but it is the lake. Never saw any boats, traffic. 15 minutes to any type of restaurant/bar. Plenty of parking for boats or trailers. Captain John’s restaurant/bar in Eufaula on the lake, pretty kewl. If you’re a fisherman or skier, this is the place. "

"Our church rented this place for a missionary couple that was going to be with us for the week at our church. They loved it and would have liked to stay longer, because it was so relaxing and comfortable for them. The cabin was spacious, clean, and very comfortable and welcoming. The hosts were very gracious to us and our missionary. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. "

"We travel every year to waterfowl hunt, staying in rental properties through various websites/apps. This cabin is one the best far as what’s provided and the pricing. Cabin is well stocked with everything we needed. Very clean inside and out. The young man doing the outdoor maintenance does a really great job keeping the whole area tidy. The location has to be the best part for someone coming to the area to visit the refuge. Will definitely be back. Thanks Robert and family. "
