Bluebird Sanctuary is a spacious, immaculate, bright and beautifully updated 2 level, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath duplex and offers unforgettable Steamboat ski mountain and Yampa Valley views. Its located only 1.5 miles from downtown and 5 miles from the resort, on a very quiet cul-de-sac, and makes a fantastic Steamboat vacation rental.

The unit itself has an entryway on the main level to store coats, boots, etc, which leads you to the updated, open living area, featuring the breath-taking, panoramic views, oak flooring, a gas fireplace and access to the deck. The fully stocked kitchen includes quartz countertops and a center island, and an adjacent dining area. The dining table will comfortably seat 6, and there are 8 bar stools for additional seating at the island.

Enjoy the spectacular views while dining, playing a game or just relaxing on the sofa. There is additional seating in the living area to relax and/or watch a game, movie or show on the large flat screen TV. There is also a desk and chair for your remote working and schooling needs in the open living area.

The lower master suite features a huge walk-in closet and an attached master bathroom with double sink vanity and double shower. Two additional bedrooms are located on the lower level with a bonus room which could serve as an office or exercise space. The attached 2-car garage can fit all your vehicles with extra storage space. With a convenient location to downtown and the Ski Area, easily use the walking path and bike trails for access to restaurants, shopping, and all that Steamboat has to offer.

All of the bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms are located on the downstairs level. The master bedroom suite features a king bed, lots of drawers, a huge walk-in closet and an attached full, private, gorgeously remodeled bathroom with double sink vanity and double shower.

The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and a desk and chair for your remote working and schooling needs.

Bedroom 3 has two bunk beds (4 twins).

There is another room that has a sofa as well as another desk and chair for your remote working and schooling needs. There is another full bath with a tub shower combo for bedrooms 2, 3 & 4 in the hallway.

Off the bottom floor has a full size washer and dryer and a little backyard area with a table and 4 chairs.

There is 2-car attached garage and 2 driveway parking spaces available.

Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Nice quiet location above downtown. The quiet neighborhood doesn’t have that rental feel. Well equipped and spacious. Running trails nearby as is fish creek falls. Really enjoyed our stay here.

The house was warm like a home, inviting and beautiful! The caregivers of the home cared about issues and took care of them right away with kindness. It was amazing to have multiple towels, pillows, full cookware , pantry full of spices, coffee, baking items and a view like no other ! We had a wonderful time 😊

It was located with an enormous electrical transformer. Beautiful view of Yampa Valley. Very hilly to walk a dog. Every day there was a burning smell, like from a furnace kicking on. It also felt like the heat was on....suffocating, unless we opened the windows. We closed the windows at night and when we were away from the property. There was no need for the furnace. We followed the instructions about the thermostat, but think it was programmed for 66. The property manager came out and turned off the pilot light, thinking that might cause the smell and checked to make sure all was well. We still had the issue.....not good. You also need to be aware of moose and bear. I don't believe anything was in the property notebook about that. We feel that information needs to be there for those who live in an urban area. The bedrooms were in the lower level, so if anyone in your party has trouble with stairs, you need to know that before booking.

Beautiful view, complete functioning kitchen, very clean, comfortable beds in 2 main bedrooms, bunk beds are sized for kids and in a room with no windows (wish they were adult sized and in the room with the glass sliding door). Very comfortable for a family of 5 adults and our dog. We would stay here again!

We were in town for a baseball tournament and wanted something more than a hotel to accommodate extended family and dogs. This property was immaculate and sleeping arrangements were all downstairs which we loved because it was cool and could easily send the kids to bed early. It was perfect!!

We had a great weekend in Steamboat. The house is well appointed and beautifully updated. We had everything we needed and more. They have included items for your pet (a water bowl, treats, etc) and the kitchen has everything needed. The location is perfect. Close to town with a great view if the mountain. It’s a nice, quiet neighborhood and has access to some trails and the Fish Creek Falls road. The only issue is the one section of fence that isn’t covered with wire and renders the backyard unsecured for dogs.

Bluebird lane was a great choice for our family of four (plus the occasional 1-2 friends) to escape the dreary East Coast winter. The house itself is roomy & open, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the the location was ideal for us - quiet, residential, and convenient to trails, dog park, town, etc. Working with iTrip was fantastic - they were super helpful and responsive before, during and after our trip. We especially loved chatting with our friendly shuttle drivers every day to/from the mountain! Highly recommend this property and iTrip vacations - we hope to return someday!

Beautiful home to stay in during our ski trip in Steamboat. Had everything we needed for a perfect stay, even dog amenities! The only issue we had was we wanted to rent the house for the fenced in yard, but part of the fence didn’t have chicken wire, so unfortunately we couldn’t let our dog off leash in the yard as planned. Otherwise the house was cleaned immaculately and was the perfect space for our family trip. The property manager Jason was super responsive during our booking process and questions we had leading up to the trip!
