"Room was not very clean. We had a mouse running around one night! The porch area outside of our room was dirty. Some of the staff acted like they didn't want to be bothered. Food at the lodge was expensive! We won't be staying here next time we are in the area. On a positive note, the main building was clean. There was music and a great view from the main porch."

"The bed rooms were clean, as were the bathrooms. The hosts were kind and responsive. However, the 1/2 bath smelled like urine. Additionally, it was extremely noisy. The dog barked & you could hear every movement they made upstairs. The beds were also very creaky and it was drafty. "

The owner was very accommodating and kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out, which I really appreciated.However, there was a significant issue with bugs inside the cabin, which affected the comfort of the stay.
