The cleanliness of the house is immediately evident, and I really appreciated that they didn't pack the house full of decorations or knick-knacks! We could make it our own and even used the TV for family video games, a movie night, and karaoke -- ultimate family vacation spot!The bathrooms were amazing, and it's obvious that quality materials were used...

"The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay...

"64 years old and stayed by myself in this Cottage. I felt safe and comfortable enough to go outside and take pictures of the night sky. I also went on adventures of nearby Creeks to look for beautiful rocks. Although Luray Caverns was only 5 Mi away I did not come here to visit the caverns. It was a nice Mountain getaway with beautiful scenic views on my drive there and back. Not just the cottage was a beautiful reminder of my grandmother's home, but a beautiful location to catch misty mornings,...

"Absolutely perfect if you have small kids (and even if you don't). Host was quick to respond. There were so many great activities available for our kids to do. Everything was super clean, well organized, and the living area, which we used for the kids' bedroom, was perfect for little ones. Next time we need to come to the area we will definitely try to rebook this place. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the barn apartment. It was well equipped and a cute studio apartment. We had a little trouble getting in touch with the owner to get the WiFi information as there is no cell service once you get to the apartment. I would suggest making sure you get that information prior to your arrival if you need it. Other than that, I would highly recommend! We were in town for a wedding so didn’t get to take advantage of all the hiking in the area. Next time!"
