Private cottage | 50 steps to BEACH!

JP’S TURTLE NEST – Come “out of your shell” and stay awhile at one of the few true beach cottages remaining! This so-cute beach cottage is only 55 steps to the beach with View of Gulf from living room! This cottage, among the many made famous by the “Plein Aire Cottage Artists,” is completely remodeled. This 1 Q bed/1 bath/1 Q sleeper unit has everything you’ll need to enjoy your optimum stay: 2 smart TVs, cent. HVAC, completely stocked kitchen, including a great blender, charcoal grill, and more (no dishwasher). Come frolic with the dolphins and watch the turtles hatch. This house is pet friendly so if you are highly allergic to dogs this home may not be a good fit for you. Our cleaning service is very good but you may notice an occasional dog hair here and there. One (1) small dog under 20lbs allowed with non-refundable pet fee. This property does not have a washer/dryer, but there is a very nearby laundromat if you need.
There is one assigned parking spot. Ask rental manager about FREE weekday free bikes.

Beautiful cottage

Perfect Getaway

This adorable cottage was just right for my husband and I. The Turkey cottage was so clean and very nicely decorated. Located so close to the beach made it stress free. We loved our stay!!! It had everything we wanted and needed.

Great Weekend in Indian Shores!

The Plumlee rental team was incredibly valuable and customer service was out of this world. They did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. It was a lovely place right by the ocean and the team gave us great recommendations of where to go during our stay. It was a beautiful weekend and I would highly recommend booking through through this company. I will definitely be back!! Thank you Kim and Steve for your efforts to make this trip worth while!

3.5 star experience - so many problems but good location and very clean

The property is about 50 steps to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. It was also very clean, but that’s pretty much where the positives stop. The night we arrived, the light in the bedroom wouldn’t turn off because the remote wasn’t working. While we were pressing buttons on the remote, one of the fan blades broke and flew off. We called the emergency line for property management because we were afraid the fan would fall on us. They told us to sleep with the light on and that they’d be out the next day. They did replace the fan the next day, but we had to sleep on the very uncomfortable sleeper sofa bed. Everything in this house is too small. The bed is maybe a double. The shower was so small I couldn’t even bend forward to wash my legs. There were only 5 bath towels provided for two to use the entire week, with no washer and dryer accessible. There was no bath mat, and the shower curtain wasn’t wide enough to catch all the water, which often flooded around the toilet area. The hot and cold water faucets in the shower were difficult to turn, which left us either scalding hot or freezing cold for showers. There was no dishwasher and very limited kitchen supplies. The stove was so cheap and made noises for about an hour after turning off, and we were concerned about it being a fire hazard. The oven mitts were so cheap I got burned. The Internet went out a few times, causing the AC and tv to shut off, & we had to wait for everything to reset once it came back on.

Place for You & Your Furry Friend

My husband and I always stay in the beautiful area of Indian Rocks Beach but always had a dog sitter. However, we recently rescued an abused dog that we were working hard to reabilitate and wanted to keep him with us. It's not easy to find a place that will accept pets. Then I found JP's Turtle Nest. The property consists of about 8 little cottages that sit in the beach side of Gulf Blvd so no streets to cross to get to the beach. Our cottage was the 3rd cottage back in the right which was #8. Now to be honest, the property is not the greatest, and there is no pool, however, #8 cottage was so cute, modern, and clean and the perfect 1 bedroom for 2 people and our little dog. For being a small cottage, it was packed with everything you could possibly need. Check in was a breeze and you can get free bicycles to use on the beach while you are there. The beaches of Indian Rocks are beautiful and it was only 500 feet from my door. If you don't need a pool, and you have a pet, I highly recommend this place!

Weekend work trip

It was a great stay with the exception of the check-in process. I called and notified Plumlee that I would be a late check-in due to a flight delay. When I arrived, the late check-in box was completely empty. After calling the emergency office number, I realized quickly that no one had any clue as to what happened. It took over an hour for them to figure out what happened and to send someone over to get me the keys to get into the unit. .
