This property has potential but needs some TLC. I stayed 6 weeks. There was little hot water. Host was responsive at first but grew unresponsive as problems continued. Sent someone to replace the thermostats on tank- they were so corroded that they weren’t heating. Never did have hot water in bathrooms (only lukewarm but that was better than having cold initially). Also one morning had no heat. Host sent repairman- I have never seen a furnace filter as black as that one was!- just poor maintenance all around. Hot water won’t be better until the hot water tank is replaced. I finally contacted VRBO about getting some refund. The host wouldn’t even respond to them. Host said it was out of her control! Not true- just needs routine regular maintenance. Got a very small amount return from VRBO. This property shouldn’t even be listed. And I should still get a refund from the host. VRBO said it was up to me to talk to host- I had always been told to go through VRBO not through the host. Ver disappointing.
