"Lovely, historic boutique hotel in Ayr. Small, but nicely appointed room, convenient location. Near the beach, close to transportation, etc. Walked to a beautiful golf course, Belleisle, and played there on a spectacular sunny day. Enjoyed 2 breakfasts and dinners in their restaurant. Very pleased with our choice of accommodations. "

"This was the most elegant and b&b I’ve ever stayed in. The room was magnificent and the owner/operators were fantastic. They treated us marvelously, were welcoming, and made us feel right at home during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely the best. "Stayed over a busy weekend of Horse Racing, with Ayr Racecourse directly accessible. Stayed within the hotel, as opposed to the courtyard. Big room, bug bathroom, had a substantial breakfast and chose to dine on the Friday night. Found the dining experience to be excellent. Staff are top notch too, very friendly with nothing too much trouble for the team. Top marks"

"Absolutely loved our stay. We cannot wait to come back again soon. The hotel was so charming. The staff were very sweet and the manager went out of his way to accommodate our requests. This will be our annual stay. "

"I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. Will definitely stay there again without question."
