Let me start by saying, I lived in Antigua for almost a year in 2017, and if I had known about this place I would have gladly stayed there for the entire duration.
From start to finish, the trip was made more amazing by the property I stayed in. Nicola was extremely accommodating, always smiling and enquiring how I was finding my stay to ensure that she was doing all that she could to make my stay as good as possible.
There are many highlights to this property. Location is one of the main ones.
There were plenty of other similarly priced cottages/accommodation that I could have chosen, but this being literally a 20-30 minute stroll into town, or a 5 minute bus ride, made this location even better. Also within proximity of...
- Epicurean and 1st Choice, 2 of the most popular supermarkets on the island
- JRs Spot, a renowned bar/nightclub that serves food and drink and has live DJ entertainment most weekdays and every weekend.
- Touloulou, literally a 5 minute walk around the corner from the cottage. It is a very prestigious restaurant with a great atmosphere, and even better food selection.
- Dickenson Bay Beach, a 30 minute stroll to the beach with great views along the way.
My only criticism about the cottage... The pictures on Expedia did not do the place justice!
This was by far my best trip to Antigua to date, and as a dual citizen of both Antigua and United Kingdom, that's a hard thing to achieve.
All in all, my trip to paradise was made perfect thanks to this place
