"This house was perfect for our family trip. The house was meticulous, clean, well organized, and had everything we needed to make our family vacation a blast. It was on its own private beach on Lake Michigan, beautiful sunset and sunrises lots of wildlife to be seen and only 10 to 15 minutes away from the port to Mackinaw. We felt like we were staying at a friends house as the host was extremely considerate to his guests, having very nice soaps, shampoos, and even left us a festive table...

"Home is comfortable and very clean. Kitchen is nicely stocked, appliances all in good working order. Conveniently located close to grocery store and restaurants. Owner friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again."

"Average stay for a vrbo (per our experiences). Nice partial view of the lake. Very quiet area. Older home kept up nicely. Beds could be a little better and was not able to use the jacuzzi tub. Other than that, everything was good."

"Clean, comfortable, cozy. The cabin feels like it’s at the end of the world, but it is easy to get to Petoskey and Mackinac Island. We had our two dogs with us and they loved investigating the yard, which is full of naturalized plantings and mown paths. The space was great for my husband and me, but I think it would be tight with any additional adults. This was a great getaway!"

Second, we were basically told "good luck" about using the oven, which would have been nice to know before we bought groceries. Third, the heat had already been turned off for the season and it was COLD at night. Thankfully some of the beds had heaters, which was great. The fireplace downstairs is just for looks/ambience. "It was very good but the bathroom could be a bit bigger that was very tiny. We appreciated the grill and the kayaks. Our grandkids really enjoyed them. It was very peaceful and relaxing."

"We loved the cottage! Due to a mixup, it wasn't clean when we got there, but one call to the Manager and a crew showed up within half an hour. It was clean in less than an hour and the crew was very friendly. The cottage is just as it looks in the pictures. It's very nicely decorated and stocked. It is quiet there! Also, the sun sets over the lake, which is very nice. I do have to say that the on-demand water heating is tricky. It cycles between cool and hot repeatedly within a minute, but if...

The only suggestion we would have is putting some slip resistant Tape in the claw foot tub. Very slippery and there is nothing to hang onto to assist you"
