  • This impressive waterside retreat is set on a stylish holiday park in the heart of the Cornish countryside, just 7 miles from the pretty harbour town of Padstow. The property welcomes 12 guests and is the ideal setting for a special getaway with family or friends. As a guest, you’ll enjoy complimentary access to a shared swimming pool and fitness suite, as well as enticing extras within the property itself, such as a hot tub and games room. Day trips from the holiday home include the picture-postcard village of Port Isaac (14.5 miles) and the surfing town of Newquay (10.5 miles).

    The detached, three-storey lodge sits alongside similar holiday homes and offers a spacious retreat with contemporary decor and stylish furniture. On entering the property at first-floor level, you’ll be greeted by two gorgeous bedrooms, both benefiting from en-suite facilities. Also on this floor is a sociable games room for spending a fun evening with family and friends. Unwind here, watching the Smart TV, playing pool, or enjoying a game of table football. Aspiring climbers can test their skills on the scramble wall. This room opens onto a balcony with spectacular countryside views. Heading down to the ground floor, discover an impressive, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner overlooking the lake. This is the heart of the home, with a sleek kitchen for whipping up hearty feasts and a large dining table to seat everyone. After dinner, gather in the comfortable lounge area to watch a movie on the Smart TV. The remaining four bedrooms are located on the second floor and all boast their own en-suite facilities. Two of the bedrooms also have a balcony with lake views. Outside, bask in the Cornish sunshine in the enclosed, decked garden where you’ll find furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining. There’s also a table tennis table for your entertainment and a fabulous hot tub. As well as the swimming pool and fitness suite, you’ll also have access to a whole host of fantastic onsite facilities, such as a spa, aqua park, tennis court, children’s play area, restaurant, and bar (additional charges may apply). Private parking is available for three cars.

    Spend a relaxing afternoon pottering around the narrow, cobbled streets of Padstow, browsing the quaint shops and galleries. The town is known for its exceptional eateries and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dinner time. The South West Coast Path passes through Padstow, providing endless walking opportunities with stunning sea views. You’ll also be within reach of Cornwall’s south coast and tourist hotspots such as Fowey (19 miles) and Par Sands (16 miles). Nearby family attractions include Camel Creek Adventure Park, Newquay Zoo, and the Eden Project (all within 12 miles).
