Great Location - Needs updating

We really enjoyed the location of the condo as well as the first floor walk out to pool access - the unit really needs updating from the popcorn ceilings that constantly fell on the floor to the twin beds - noisy and squeaky - my kids ended up sleeping on the living room sofa - we would love to stay here again but will look around for newer renovated units

Wonderful get away

Met my son’s in-laws and all their family for their family reunion. They were all staying at the same site and have come her every year or every other year for 28 yrs. This was our first time and can see why they return so often. Located with easy access to the beach, 2 swimming pools, clean, quiet, easy remote check in!

Great location for a good budget rental

Good budget rental in a great location. Nice big patio right beside a wonderfully heated pool. Easy access to beach. Budget = dated furnishings, which was fine for a spring break week with kids. However would suggest fixing blinds in master bedroom along pool for more privacy. Cleaning staff could do a better job as well.

Enjoyed our stay

Pros: Great location with easy beach access. Heated pool is right outside the large back patio. We were pleasantly surprised with how well it is stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, and beach supplies (chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, etc.). Had everything we needed. Everything worked. Very pet friendly complex. Received a call for property management to let us know it was ready and we could check in early. They also made sure we had received all the access codes. Cons: No TV in queen bedroom and there is a pass through window with shutters between queen room and kitchen which limits privacy a bit. You can tell some areas had been updated (bedroom floors, master shower). Other areas are quite worn and need some attention like some of the walls, baseboards, bathroom cabinets and missing thresholds in bedrooms doorways. The sleeper sofa was all springs and does not look new as the listing says.

We feel there needs to be updating to this unit. Master bath, the comade moves when you get up and the sink faucet does not look like it is on correctly. Master bedroom had a lot of hair in door track and I could not open the door. It is SO HARD to open. Mold in bedroom by bathroom. Blinds and fans dirty. Overall okay but I did not feel cleanliness to this unit. Beautil pools and access to beach. I won't rent again sorry to say. I like to smell how clean it is walking in.

Dated Unit needs work but has everything else

The location, grounds, pool, and amenities were all great. The unit itself needs updating and maintenance. Sliders in bad shape, screens for them, unusable. Other odds and ends were in bad shape as well. Other than that, the beach was awesome and the pool is top notch.

The location of this property is perfect. It’s right by the pool and off the beach. It wasn’t as clean as we would’ve hoped a lot of the dishes and pots and pans needed to be re-washed before use. We were also very disappointed with the outside grill it was old and not well-maintained. Other units in the building had a really nice gas grills. The condo really could use some updating I know that the review says it has been recently remodeled but that was not evident. Overall a very nice stay.

Family friendy and great location

PROS first - great location, great pool for the kids, easy access to the beach via a paved walk, condo is roomy enough for 6 to 8, Ground floor condo patio provided Room for outdoor dining and a place for the children to play. It is a quiet complex and well maintained. Observations: Not sure which part of the condo has been newly renovated. The entire unit could use an overhaul. Upon arrival we observed cracked tile in the entry way, Crumbling baseboards, missing vertical blinds, lamp shade that belonged in the trash. This did not detract from our stay but they certainly need attention. With the some updates to this condo I would certainly rent it again.

Beautifully maintained! Perfectly located to everything you could want while on vacation!

We love the ground floor access, from the parking lot or the pool! The condo was neat and spacious enough to handle our party of 8, adults and high school aged children. The washer and dryer access allowed us to manage our own, personal beach towels, keeping them clean throughout the week. There are many toys available for small children, a couple of beach chairs and boogie boards, as well! The king and queen beds do not sleep very well...but maybe i'm just getting old! My children slept great on the twin beds. The kitchen is well-stocked with most anything you might need to prepare a meal; no blender, however. We have stayed at Ocean Villas for many, many years!! We love where the property is positioned, close access to great food, grocery shopping and activities! Its beautifully maintained and both pool areas are awesome!! This is our first stay in Unit 100 and we were very happy!! I may look at other ground floor options next summer, however, simply because i slept so poorly - overall, though, this property and unit were just what i needed for my summer week of vacation in the FL sunshine!!! -Lexington, KY
