Beacher's Oceanfront Patio Suite with onsite Front Desk and Staff

  • This adorable seaside suite is well appointed. Relax on the leather full sized sleeper sofa or vibrant easy chair and enjoy the view or the large flat screen TV. The kitchen has been recently updated with beautiful granite counter tops, an induction stove top and convection microwave oven. Complete with dishwasher and a full size refrigerator to help make you feel right at home. The granite counter tops continue into the bathroom, complemented by a walk in shower. The shower head has a color temperature indicator, so start the shower cool blue and when the water is warmed up look for the color change on the shower head. When it's time to turn in for the night, enjoy the bed (some say full size but owner says it's a queen) in the private bedroom to watch TV, or lay flat to stretch out into slumber. The closet organizer will allow a place for everything in it's place. The perfect harmony of this beach side retreat will have you singing when you stay with us!

Got locked out of room

Reviewer Comments: The room was lovely but I was locked out all night because I just left the hospital and forgot my phone in the room and couldn’t get back in until after 8 am and I used all my money for a room I couldn’t get into and I couldn’t go to the bathroom and I ran out of gas

St Augustine escape

Good location and easy access to beach. It was nicely furnished & the furniture was very comfortable which made it so enjoyable to stay there. Other than having to re-log on to the internet too many times, I give this a very high rating & would definitely return again if we are in the area.

I would take advantage of Publix down the road. Nice clean pool and beautiful ocean with waves. Close to the Amphitheater where my wife went to a concert. (she parked nearby it for free and was shuttled over and back for free. Saved the parking money)Nice staff.Only downside was there was a full size bed where I rather a queen. It was a bit cozier though. Lol!

Beautiful comfortable condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was absolutely beautiful, relaxing and fun. It is perfect for a couple or a family with two small children. It has a small living room with a couch that turns into a bed and recliner, kitchen with refrigerator, 2 burner induction stove, microwave and toaster oven with everything you need for your kitchen. Full size bathroom with walk in shower and a bedroom with a queen size bed and tv. It’s on the first floor and you have a small patio with a tiny little yard with furniture that is so perfect for relaxing and watching or listening to the ocean. This place also has a heated outdoor pool if you don’t want to go down the private walkway to the beach. I absolutely adore this place and will definitely recommend it everyone I know.. the price is good and it’s truly a smoke free room!! The only complaint I have and it’s not about the room is the lights on the walkway don’t all work so at night it’s very dark out there. Also, the representative at the front desk (Jennifer) I think this is her name.. was pretty rude. Not sure if she was just having an off day or what but she wasn’t very pleasant.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was a perfect location for a beach vacation and yet close enough to drive to Old Town for a dose of history and city dining. This was a great 1st floor unit with a perfect view of the beach and a short distance to the pool. Fabulous! The interior decor was new and fresh- looked like it had just been remodeled and we enjoyed the thought and care that the owner took in anticipating the guest's needs and desires. The kitchen area was well appointed and had all the utensils and appliances that we could want. The closet area, while small, had plenty of hangers which were appreciated for a week's stay. The size was okay for the two of us, but would be insufficient for a third person in my opinion. The weather wasn't the greatest so we did spend more time indoors than we anticipated so it would have been nice if there was a better selection of cable channels as well as ability to log into our own streaming accounts. This wore on us as the week went by. Also we noticed that there was an automated sprinkler right outside the patio area which left large puddles making it difficult to enjoy the outdoor area in the morning. Other than these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Cozy & Comfortable But Frustrating at Times..

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property description was accurate and amenities listed were included. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed were multiple ant traps throughout the unit,then we quickly saw ants when sealed food products were placed on the kitchenette counter. Maintenance was quick to respond but we had to secure all of our belongings to a higher location after being told sugar ants are a common problem. Also of note, the water temp in the shower never got hot and when relating that to the maintenance tech he stated, "the control unit temp control is as high as it goes." Oddly, both both sinks had more and consistent hot water! Chairs & bedding were comfortable. We didn't use the outside patio because it was consistently wet largely due to ocean facing concrete floor slops towards the sliding glass door rather than the grassy area. Furnishings were lovely but a bit over the top - photos & small knick knacks were EVERYWHERE. Appliances were new & worked well.Towel hooks in the bathroom would have been welcomed. The main door was deficient in having a secure seal causing an unacceptable and consistent draft. Beware of only 5 TV stations and constant re-verifying the (2) firewalls required to access the internet will become an irritant. Beacher's was a comfortable beach location, away from the crowds - very quiet with a wonderful beach & heated pool. We'll return, but perhaps to a different unit. The gold rating is certainly warranted with a few exceptions.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at Beacher's Lodge for years and this is my new favorite condo rental. It was clean and had updated furnishings. It was perfect for a couple's get away. Being on the ground level actually was nice because we could just walk outside and felt closer to the dunes and beach and you feel like you have a little backyard, although shared with neighboring guests. The bedroom is a separate room and had room darkening curtains and it's own AC which kept us very cool at night. The appliances were updated as well. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Our unit was lovely, nicely decorated and very clean. New bathroom was fabulous! I cant say enough good things about the staff members I interacted with. Friendly and helpful.The pool is heated and very clean and the beach is a walk over the dunes away. The beach is beautiful. The location is the best, 10 miles from St Augustine and 30 minutes to Flagler beach. Violas is a must for dinner, the best Italian food and service. A great place to vacation!!!

Ate at two restaurants, the seafood restaurant right next door and Taco Libra down A1A about 3 miles. Both were great places to eat. Our room was very clean and the best part was the recliner. After stitching all day it was great to come back to the room and put my feet up.
