Beacher's Oceanfront Balcony Suite with Onsite Front desk and staff

This lovely balcony suite allows you to enjoy the quiet side of the ocean front at Beacher's Lodge. This suite is located on the 3rd floor at the north end of the property. The balcony is great to have a bite to eat on, or to watch the ocean waves. There is a comfortable queen sleeper sofa and laid back relaxing chair in the living room. The large flat screen TV is equipped with HD programming and the Popular Channel line up from Comcast (upgraded over basic cable). The kitchenette in this suites is very limited, with a small refrigerator, small microwave and no stove top or oven. There is an electric skillet, a George Foreman grill and an induction burner with the appropriate pan(s). The bathroom has granite top vanity and shower. The private bedroom has a queen sized bed with a 3" foam topper for extra comfort. There is a flat screen tv in the bedroom as well. This condo has tile throughout and just might be the perfect spot for your next beach visit! NO PETS ALLOWED (PLEASE, this condo owner's granddaughter has severe pet allergies!) Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

Small but doable for two. Clean, quiet & comfortable with beautiful view & location. This unit has a MINI refrigerator/freezer. Enjoyed The Beachcomber, Viola’s, The Elk House & the St. Augustine Amphitheater.

Unfortunately, I think the pics of the unit do not represent the unit honestly. It's very dated and drab. The staff that mans the complex is very nice but, the teams doing change over throughout the building in the morning are very loud (doors slammed & carts banging) and didn’t have consideration for the guests. The view of the beach is awesome and if going to the beach is your only focus then you might be ok with this location

Older condo, great views but No Blender

Nice basic unit but I've been renting condos from St Augustine to Destin, Gulf shores for over 40 yrs, I think this is the first one that there was NO blender!?so unfortunately no frozen margaritas or pina coladas.I did go back and read the listing carefully and sure enough they didn't list a blender but I thought it was just a given,like plates and bowls.This is a small one bdrm unit,and for sure has small kitchenette no stove/oven it does have a toaster oven on counter,microwave and a very small fridge, almost every time opened the door something would fall out.LOL. It has 2 AC window units, one on the balcony is a little annoying when its on, noise level interrupts hearing the waves some. The other one is in the bedroom,both constantly kicking on. 1 of the 2 elevators was broken on the last day that we were trying to check out.The pro's.Good price for one bdrm on ocean front. maybe a pro and a con is location, it's right next to the public beach access and bathhouse so kind of crowded there but the boardwalk of condo is to the right, looking at the ocean so need to walk to the right/south to avoid crowds. No pets in 332.Tiled unit. I think they bring you fresh towels daily. Another pro and con I guess,is freezer so small cant reasonably produce ice, but the property has ice machines,but i just bought 7 lb bag.Has electronic key pad in and out of condo. ( but had to get 3 diff. codes before found one that worked. Frt rm has Netflix capabilites. Free parking.my rating 7.5

Memorial Day weekend

Everything including last-minute accommodations all went smoothly. The room was just as advertised. A couple great sunrises headed to the trip. And for a memorial Day weekend, the beach was still not too crowded and no issues whatsoever. All in all a fantastic weekend.

Beautiful view but uncomfortable room!! The couch was sitting on the floor. It was very damp

We booked for 2 days but left after the 1st night. My husband and I were both uncomfortable and the seating was wore out!!! The couch was like you fell to the floor. The entire room was damp and felt awful trying to sleep, the bedding was cold and damp feeling

This condo was cute and cozy. Perfect for a couple getting away for a weekend. My husband and I spent one evening here to see the sunrise on the beach. It was definitely worth it for the price and time we stayed. We could have stayed a couple more nights and enjoyed the beach and pool.

The View!!

Gorgeous view from the balcony. We loved waking up to coffee with stunning ocean sunrises on the balcony with barstool height chairs and table. The condo was very clean. Found it to be quiet. Beachers property is well kept. Pool hours over at 5 pm this time of year. Nice pool deck. Fridge freezer is dorm size. Bed is double size and not very comfortable. This unit is more like a hotel room than condo. No stove to cook on which suited us fine, as it gave us opportunity to explore locally for places to eat.

Oceanfront Getaway

Views are stunning! Private balcony for sunrises with coffee/tea mornings and cocktails at night. Quiet beach for morning or evening walks. Location close enough to St. Augustine attractions but far enough away for your beach getaway vacation!

It's all about the sunrises.

This is an affordable beachfront property, that allowed us to get up every morning and watch the sunrise on the balcony with a cup of coffee.

we have stayed at this complex before but no this unit. location is great view is amazing never gets old the unit itself although it was a great location, you can hear everything outside. The elevator running which is rather loud. wish there would have been a bathtub the shower tends to allow water to get on the floor (this particular set up) this was a smaller unit the bathroom was smaller than the others we have been in. People we very loud outside. The cable/satellite issue with the tv and it aggravating to only watch programs we have seen already. The bed was a full size which I knew that but it wasn't very comfortable, No issues with the complex itself people were very friendly even had a gentleman help with the baggage getting them to the room. And always friendly employees when we came in contact. overall, not too bad the view makes up for any negativity if I were staying longer may need another bed but for a short stay it was fine.

Clean and quaint

We only stayed one night. Check-in was a breeze, the room was clean and just as pictured. The elevator on our end was not working (which we were informed upon check-in) so we had to use the stairs for our rental on the 3rd floor. The A/C in the main room wasn’t blowing cold. Not a huge deal for us, but might be for someone else. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Overall it was a great stay.

St Augustine trip

The location, the condo was fine other than there is no cooktop. This is a condo, why isn’t there a cooktop? No range or cooking stove. And the refrigerator is a $100.00 from Walmart that is for a bedroom at a dorm. This property should not be available via VRBO. We bought groceries before we went into the condo and was highly disappointed with the tiny fridge and no cooking stove. They did have an electric skillet in the cabinet. How embarrassing. Even camping trailers have cooktops and larger refrigerators.
