Beacher's Lodge Studio Suite (Not Directly Oceanfront)

The perfect spot for couples or families looking to enjoy oceanfront amenities but at a value price. This one room suite is not directly oceanfront, it has a view of the beach parking lot, however it's only steps away from the dog walk and public beach access. Enjoy the comfortable queen bed and queen sized sleeper sofa. In the room with your bed and sleeper sofa is a kitchenette with 2 burner stove top, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. A short walk across the parking lot to the south end of the property to enjoy the oceanfront pool and property beach access. Entire condo complex is non-smoking (except in designated smoking areas)
Pets allowed with $75 non-refundable pet fee, per pet per stay. Maximum of 2 pets.
THIS ROOM IS NOT OCEANFRONT. Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

Overall great stay

The property is very clean and seems to be managed well. There are a few small wear and tear things that could be updated, but the room was very clean. The bed wasn' the comfiest but we did sleep well, and again, everything was very clean.

Beacher’s Lodge at Creacent

We enjoyed our stay, the room was very nice and clean and the staff took out our trash and refreshed our linens or anything we needed each day. Our room was a little bit of a walk to the beach room 138 via the bldg access BUT we found the gate to the public parking lot next to us which made access to the beach very easy and quick. It was located in the ground level which I really liked and next door to the lobby. Thank you and we would stay here again.

Perfect location!

Staff was extremely nice and helpful! Location was perfect! Close to some great trails and about 25 minutes from St.Auguestine. The beach is beautiful, clean, and not crowded. The room we stayed in itself was 8/10 in upkeep. It was an older property that probably could stand some updates, fixing, or replacing. Cleanliness was 9/10. I dont tend to be extremely picky when it comes to beach properties. You have to remember these locations are constantly dealing with water and damp conditions, so obviously there will be some show from that.The TV situation/streaming was amazing with a 4 year old! Lots of options. We stayed 2 nights (quick beach stop on the way to Disney) and would happily have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. It is very easy to reach the manager as well in the event a question comes up. She was quick to respond and very helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Nice stay

We originally checked in to a room with no view, ac was moldy, tv wasnt working right, missing remote ....so we werent happy with the room... However, the guy working the front desk and the maintenance guy ( sorry forgot their names) went out of their way to not only quickly look at our issues, but upgraded us to a different room with a great ocean view and awesome roomy condo....we were not expecting that at all....so we had a great time there and would definitely recommend this place to stay....thanks again to the 2 guys that helped us..

For the money it is ok

The smokers area is right outside your window and you can hear folks out there at all times, they need to replace those blinds that are broken and let light from cars enter your room in the evening. It is just a short walk to the beach which is nice. Over all good place.

Fun getaway

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay. The room was just as it was pictured. Our 2 kids (8 and 3) were able to sleep comfortably on the pullout sofa. It was a very short walk to the pool and beach. The room was incredibly quiet and the staff were very friendly. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Nice location room needs some work

Renting process was easy. Staff was very friendly. Location was nice had a few shops across the road and not too far to st Augustine historic district. The room seemed to be updated from the photos online but upon entering the room we noticed that the room seemed to be thrown together. For example molding popping off the wall in several places. Bathroom fan was loud and not working properly and the humidity in the bathroom was unbearable at times. They seem to be renovating this place but it seemed to be rushed in our room. Would stay again just would hope for a better room next time.

Nice area and property, room could use work

We really loved the beach here and the property and management were nice as well. The room could use some updating and could be cleaned a lot better. There were mold spores on the ceiling of the shower and the bathroom would smell like sewage through the day. Floors were dirty when we got there and the couch had a huge yellow stain on the cushion closest to the bed. We didn’t spend much time in the room and it definitely could have been worse- but it still wasn’t the best.

Quick weekend

This property's location is great. Another plus I didn't see in the listing is that this property is right next to a st. John's county lifeguard station. This made me feel much better that there was some help available in the event it was needed. We walked on the beach every morning and evening, ate great food and enjoyed some swimming in the afternoon. Perfect for a quick getaway

Great beach location for St. Augustine.

Good location for walking on nice sandy beach. Close enough to historic St.Augustine for tourist activities yet away from crowds. Room size adequate. The property needs some updating as air con / heater was very rackety when turned on. One window was leaking water from rains. Vent fan in bathroom was very noisy.

Not what expected

I may have gotten spoiled with all the amazing properties I have stayed in on VRBO, this one was not exactly what I expected. Pros: right on the beach, beautiful handicap accessible pool, friendly guest services and staff, accepts dogs and mine were being a little rotten that night, the neighbors were very friendly and understanding. CONS; the photographer did a hell of a job making that small studio hotel room look as big as they did. The price. This was a stop off on our way to Naples. We paid more for 1 night for a studio apartment in not the best part of St. Augustine, then we paid when we stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 bath home in Naples with a pool in hot tub less than a mile from the beach. When you compare the 2, it just seems way overpriced. Had the price been lower, I would definitely have been happier with this. Make sure you read the full description on this before booking. The rooms do come with a small kitchen and it's stocked with dishes. In all honesty it wasn't bad. I just have been really lucky with nicer VRBOS at a much better price. Had this been less per night, it would have been a 5 star experience. The beach and pool are really nice. They do have cleaning supplies in the room, and overall it was clean, but they need to deep clean once a month behind spaces.

Cute and quaint

Check in was super easy and quick. The room was easy to find and was nice that it was so close to the dog walk. You can access the park next door through the gate which made it easier than walking all the way to the other end to go to the beach. Nice ice cream shop and restaurant across the street. Good price for on the beach with no beach view. Could use a really good deep clean but other than that I would recommend and stay again.
