"Mars hotel was budget friendly. Nothing special but perfectly adequate for price and location. I do give 10/10 tho to the man on reception. He was lovely whilst checking in. And then when I left my hair straighteners in the room and didn’t realise till home. This man was so helpful, I sorted a Royal Mail collection and he kept me updated with his side and made sure they were all packaged up to be sent back to me. To me he went over and above, thank you so much! "

"We stayed here for the weekend for my brothers 60th birthday and set up a surprise and Leah the manager was so helpful and helped us to make it possible. The rooms were exactly what we needed somewhere to clean up have a cup of tea and have a good nights sleep and the bed was very comfy. So all in all a good choice for us for a very reasonable price. "This is a wonderful place to stay. It has a car park at the rear and 3 parking spots at the front. It is very secure with a personal PIN provided before book in for the doors. Very clean and smart. Big comfy bed in room 6 anyway. Nice little kitchenette. Fridge, kettle, coffee machine. Lovely shower. If I had to pick fault it would be the awful washing up liquid. It must be watered down, it does very little indeed! The flat is near to all restaurants and a Whetherspoons. Lots of coffee bars. The...

"Nice little hotel, bed was comfortable. We had a small double for the night and it was absolutely fine for our needs. Staff are good and looked after us well. Can't fault it at all for what we paid and parking available across the road, so unlike hotels in the centee of town you will always be handy for your car."
