"Beautiful house. Inside and out. Very well maintained. Very clean. Had everything we needed. The hot tub was really nice. It was very quiet which was very relaxing. Very close to Penn’s Cave. Highly recommend. It was a really nice get away. "

"The charming cottage was the perfect location from which to explore Bald Eagle State Park, State College and the entire area. The cottage also has a gas grill right on the front porch and a lot of room to spread out. My husband and daughter rode their dirt bikes during the day, while I visited the Seven Mountains Wine Cellars and nearby towns. Our hosts, Will and Dana, were extremely responsive which made for a stress free stay. "

"We stayed a night after a show at Bryce Jordan. We were able to check in via phone beforehand since we didn’t have time to stop before the show. So happy firewood was for sale after hours because we had the perfect little campfire at our site before going to bed. AC was running prior to our arrival. Thank you!"

"We had a wonderful stay. We were in the area for our daughter’s graduation from Penn State. We stayed in the RV which had all the comforts of home-cozy chairs, a roomy dining area, and comfortable beds. We had a problem with the lock when we first arrived and the owner immediately replied to our query and fixed the issue. "Remember going to camp as a kid? This location is exactly that- right by the lake, with a place to have a fire and relax. We were only able to stay 1 night but for big groups who are cool with a camp-like stay, it’s a great deal. FYI depending on your carrier the cellphone reception is minimal, which personally I think makes it even more like a no-cellphone camp atmosphere that I appreciate, but our teens of course struggled with that! Sweet back deck with a swing we enjoyed. "

"I was highly impressed by the cleanliness and accommodations here. I loved how the hostess decorated and felt inspired to bring some of the ideas home! I was skeptical of the "tabins" because not the best pictures online but was pleasantly content when we got here. They were spacious enough to accommodate and the beds were fine. The listing does not do the actual space justice... way bigger than anticipated and a perfect space for my family and I.
