"Gorgeous hotel in small city of north of Iowa. The city is beautiful, clean ,organized and has a lot of good stores, coffee bar, like Java Johns, and restaurants. People who live there is so friendly like we don't see commonly. The hotel has very well conservative old english classic design whit large windows and wall of bricks. "

"We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...

"House is stocked with everything we needed for a several weeks stay - great home base for exploring the area. We especially enjoyed the front porch - sitting out and watching the sun rise, and the deer wandering the neighborhood in the evenings. A short stroll to downtown Decorah. Laundry on site was super helpful, and we had room for a couple guests to spend a few nights with us. Ten out of ten!"

"This is the perfect house to stay in! There are 4 bedrooms, two living rooms, and a large kitchen. My family had plenty of room! Not only is the house large, the outside is large, too. We easily sat 6 of us around the backyard patio table and grilled. What a pleasant weekend!"
