"This is a lovely property with so much story and heart to it. We were welcomed from the moment we drove into the driveway. They made effort to give us an ice box to keep our food cool. The room was clean, comfortable and with lots of character. We had a lovely bed, desk, chairs and rocking chair by the window. It was lovely. "Kind hosts. Breakfast was served at the table with conventional menu. My boys and we all loved the food, very homey and well prepared, tastes great. Rooms are very clean, beddings are comfortable. Well maintained. Nice garden with hummingbirds visiting. Highly recommended "

"We had a great stay at the Parrsboro Mansion. Our room (Captains) was very big, clean, and came with a private sauna which was a nice surprise! The host family was very nice, provided great service, and a good breakfast. There aren’t many restaurants in the area but that’s no fault of the hosts. Would stay again. "

"We loved that the check-in process was seamless - we weren’t prepared for no internet when we arrived and the code to the door box was in my email. It was figured out though so no harm done. Really enjoyed the wood stove, that added so much ambiance to the place for sure. The bedrooms very spacious but very warm, especially when wood stove going in the evening. The tub was huge but I was not able to enjoy a hot bath at the end of our paddling tour as the water was tepid at best. The owner...
