"Amazing! The Staff was Excellent-welcoming, friendly, and hard-working. The area was very well maintained, Our cottage (The Lily Pad) was perfect for us-very spacious. The bathrooms and showers were kept extremely clean and as bug-free as they can be in a campground (I have a great aversion to spiders). The view of the river was spectacular. I've camped in a lot of places over the last 15 years, and The Millyard was definitely the best one. If we go back to Bear River, this is the only place...

"One of the best accommodation during this Nova Scotia trip. Check in was smooth, AC was blasting when we entered the unit (30 + degree so we were so hot), two queen beds in two separate rooms, clean kitchen and washroom. It also had creek and benches so you could enjoy nature. We were there for only one day but we will definitely recommend this place. Also there is restaurant called Mr.Fish, amazing little restaurant and you can enjoy legit seafood. We will definitely come back for longer stay....

"Great family orientated vacation spot. Our kids enjoyed the dvd collection on the rainy evenings and the kayaks on the sunny days. We all loved the deck and stocked fire pit. Close to Lunenburg’s restaurants and shopping but far enough away to escape the crowds. Great communication from the property owners. We’d stay here again!"

"Blue Jay cottage is a quaint, lovely cottage. The hosts were very responsive whenever we had a question and the cottage had everything we needed. The setting was perfect, right on the water with access for our kayak and paddleboard. Easy access to Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Bridgewater. They had lots of little extras, in case we forgot anything, like chargers, condiments and all of the necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"I told Gus and Gert their place was a slice of heaven and it was. They are great hosts. The home is very cute. The views from the house were amazing. We even had fawns visit us. "The view was gorgeous and enjoyed the house!! We only went downstairs to wash clothes but it smelled a little musty so glad we were sleeping upstairs. Also we read and reread directions for the hot tub but we could not get the top off and didn’t want to damage it. Can’t beat the view!!!"

"Reservei um quarto com cama de casal e um sofá-cama para meu filho de 16 anos e eu. Quando chegamos no quarto, o sofá-cama estava desmontado e não havia travesseiros, fronha ou lençóis para meu filho. Quando pedi para resolverem, um funcionário chegou para deixar as roupas de cama e lençóis, mas não queria arrumar a cama. Pedi novamente e ele arrumou, ainda que um tanto transtornado. A experiência não foi positiva. O café-da-manhã foi outra experiência desgastante. Não há estrutura para tantos hóspedes e simplesmente não havia lugar para sentar. Pegamos muita fila e demoramos para comer, segurando os pratos nas mãos. O hotel estava lotado e eles não pensaram em formas de acomodar todos os hóspedes adequadamente. O estacionamento era conveniente e a região do hotel era bem localizada, bem próximo do monumento Citadel Hill. Não fosse os inconvenientes na chegada e o café-da-manhã, o hotel levaria 5 estrelas."
