"We decided to do a last minute white water rafting trip in Ohiopyle, PA. The Lodge at Chalk Hill was just what we needed! A clean and comfortable spot to rest our head for the night. Our room looked to be recently renovated. The front desk staff was friendly and engaging. Although we weren't there long and didn't get to explore the area thoroughly, we will definitely be back and plan to book again with the Lodge at Chalk Hill!"

"The room smells, looked nothing like the pictures, and it was not clean nor safe. It was old- like 1950s old. It looked like a hotel you see in the movies when the coroner comes "

"Okay. This is a one to two star property. Older and dated. However, it was very clean and well maintained! I needed an overnight while attending a two day class in the area. Clean room and a place to rest. This facility hit the mark. Quiet also even though was convenient to the PA turnpike. I would stay here again."

"Pros; Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean with a frig, microwave, and coffee. Able to park right outside our door. Good rate. Able to bring in our dog which was a priority. Cons: no ice machine, owner had to give me ice out of her own frig in a cup. No restaurants or gas stations or shops nearby. Very off the beaten path."

"I called the property to let them know we would be late due to unforeseen circumstances. I was unaware the office closed but they said it would not be a problem. When we got there the reservation was canceled so I had to pay for another night and was told to call the third party to get a refund on my initial reservation which is proving to be complicated. The room smelled like mildew and the pictures are clearly from when it was first opened bc the rooms are now rundown. The floors are hardwood...

"Dirty room. A lot of head and body hairs in the bath areas. We went in family, arrived late to change hotel. I can not indicate this hotel for family use."
