"Definitely, Best Western is one of the best hotel networks available in Australia, and this one in Hobart follows the same standard. The best value for money, I mean. Our room seemed like brand new, perhaps it was recently refurbished. It was very spacious (fits well 3 people), quite, with a very well-designed toilet and comfortable beds. "Outstanding property and environment, but unfortunately understaffed with poor communication. Could have been the best stay of our trip but spoiled by amazing lack of information. It felt like a cynical exercise in capitalism. "

"Check-in was confusing, as there was no one at reception on arrival. When I called the provided number, I was instructed to open a locked room that was already occupied by another guest, which was quite concerning. There were also no clear instructions provided for the check-out process. Since my stay, I have been receiving emails stating that payment has not been made. This is incorrect, as I paid in full at the time of booking and have receipts to confirm this."

"Both of us woke up shivering cold since there was no heat/AC in the room. Beds only provided a thin blanket rather than a proper comforter, and had no electric heating elements underneath. Besides that, the room offered numerous appliances and was very clean. Would not recommend unless proper heating and air conditioning is installed in the building."

"Room was very hot and stuffy. The window was broken so no fresh air. After insisting that something be done, the staff were able to prop the window open with a book. Basically it’s not as cute as the photos. It was a good price, but next time I think I’d rather pay more for a better standard. Good in restaurant was also very ordinary."
