"We stayed in Cabin 4 at Eastcoaster Tasmania and had a very pleasant experience. We arrived just two minutes before reception closed, and the lady at reception was still very welcoming and polite, which we really appreciated after a long day of travel. The cabin was comfortable and had a lovely view directly by the water, making it a very relaxing place to stay. "Definitely, Best Western is one of the best hotel networks available in Australia, and this one in Hobart follows the same standard. The best value for money, I mean. Our room seemed like brand new, perhaps it was recently refurbished. It was very spacious (fits well 3 people), quite, with a very well-designed toilet and comfortable beds. "Both of us woke up shivering cold since there was no heat/AC in the room. Beds only provided a thin blanket rather than a proper comforter, and had no electric heating elements underneath. Besides that, the room offered numerous appliances and was very clean. Would not recommend unless proper heating and air conditioning is installed in the building."

"Room was very hot and stuffy. The window was broken so no fresh air. After insisting that something be done, the staff were able to prop the window open with a book. Basically it’s not as cute as the photos. It was a good price, but next time I think I’d rather pay more for a better standard. Good in restaurant was also very ordinary."

"My partner and I stayed in the Lodge accomodation area, which was a self contained unit. It was very impressive and comfortable for the two of us inside and out. The best feature for us was the deck, which overlooked the water. We watched one of the best sunsets ever. And there’s plenty of wildlife around too. Highly recommended. "
