"What more can I say about Cygnet. Can’t wait to come back. We been travelling for three weeks and Huon Valley is a must on everyone list. We stayed in Cygnet Old Bank. Our room was large and very cosy this time of year. A lot of produce also around the area.(Yum)"

"Great place to stay. It's a bit out of the way from Hobart but it's in a beautiful area so the distance was not a big deal. Lovely place but could use a bit more attention to dusting. Other than that really great place"

"Seriously the best stay ever. Leonie and Tim were so accommodating and great to chat to. The most comfortable beds, beautiful views, heated bathroom floors and overall very clean and tidy. We only stayed for the night but it was like home away from home-- would highly recommend if you're looking for a personal, comfortable, and cozy stay just outside of Hobart. 10/10, hope to come back here one day!"

"Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. Both hosts, Richard and Cally, encouraged us to wander the historic property, which felt a little like stepping back in time to a more peaceful era. We even saw one of the dam’s resident platypus! Cally’s local suggestions enhanced our day trip to...
