"Beautiful 200 years old farm in prestine location along a loch. Just heavenly! And (no surprise) the hostess Deirdre is an angel. Very kind and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. Nice cozy lounge with fireplace and a wide variety of scotch. Lots to see and do in the area. We stayed only two nights. Should have stayed four…."

"Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. Spacious and comfortable, with pretty views. The restaurant was amazing (vegan and gluten free options too), and the grocery store/gift shop on site was a great feature (vegan, gluten free options at the store as well). We will definitely be back and would highly recommend! The golf course was excellent as well. We stayed in 12B Maxwells."

"Very comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great area of Argyle. Michael was a great host, and having made sure we were comfortably settled left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility that this part of the world offers. Saw the otter at the end of the pier on our first day and loved watching the Oyster Catchers at work on the beach. We will definitely be back."

"We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment accommodated our group of 6 well and was spacious. The furnishings are a little older but the grounds and the view to the lake are lovely. We enjoyed a drink at the onsite bar. It is worth checking the location on Google Maps as it is a little off the beaten track, but that is part of its charm. "
