Let's start with the good:
Good location
Rooms better than expected (although towel rail was hanging off).
Felt very clean
Now the bad:
We got a call at around 1pm on the day of the check in, telling us if we didn't pay then and there they would cancel the rooms (we had 7 rooms). Pointed out we booked on pay at hotel and we would be checking in at around 5. The man was quite aggressive and kept referring me to our agent (I'm guessing he meant hotels.com). After I promised we would be there he calmed down and agreed to keep the rooms!!
The worst part for me was the shower, I had room 2, which had a walk in shower, used it in the morning and the tray got so slippy, I couldn't stay on my feet and ended up in a pile in the corner. I mentioned this on check out and suggested a slip mat was needed. The lady was concerned and said someone would call me to check I was alright. Nobody did, I actually suffered from a broken toe and a bit of bruising, but it could have been a lot worse.
My summary is the hotel facilities are OK, but the care of the guests is poor and overall they are lucky to get 3 stars from me.
