"Friendly staff at front desk & kitchen. Clean, comfortable bed. Needs renovation. Old stained carpet in room. No coffee at breakfast. Machine empty and broken."

"House was very nice and clean. Jaymes even had snacks and beverages available in the house, which has not happened at any other property I’ve stayed at. He had firewood for fire pit all ready for you. The bottle of wine was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. Will definitely stay here again. "

"It was okay for the price, peaceful and clean. Sadly the mattress was a bit uncomfortable & springy. I slept on top of the comforter and used my own. My room was clean and smelled great. The tv bit small for king size bed & room size. The channel selection was pretty basic. Small fridge worked. Very small microwave & it was a bit dented up but worked. I wouldn't mind staying there again if the price is right. Ive paid for nicer at same price or cheaper. I was worried about the reviews especially...

"Owner was very Sweet! Had called to check on my arrival time and I had mentioned in conversation, I forgot my book. He politely offered me books and set some on the end of the bed for my arrival. Very cute and cozy place. Very peaceful to set and read a book at the outside accommodations."

"The lodge is nestled in a beautiful setting in the trees along side the lake. It was perfect! We watched a fawn from our balcony while we had coffee. Great stay, wish we had stayed longer."

"The front desk staff was very welcoming. The room had coffee but no cream or sugar. Hall carpeting very stained and dirty as was the carpet in the breakfast area. It appears they are in the process of updating landscaping, but many areas had weeds growing in beds knee high. It made the hotel look abandoned. Trash can outside entrance was full. Very disappointing !"
