In the summer time, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, South Padre Island offers a Firework Show every Friday and Saturday at 9:15 P.M. South Padre Island is the longest barrier reef island on the Gulf of Mexico. The Island offers a free Shuttle Bus to take you around the Island or into the town of Port Isabel.
