The Space:
Welcome to our Practical Harbor by the Beach #2—a comfortable, walkable getaway close to everything South Padre Island has to offer. If location matters most, this spot is hard to beat. You’ll be less than 100 yards from the beach and within a short 5-minute stroll to countless restaurants, bars, shops, and family-friendly attractions while still being a really affordable SPI rental.
This ground-floor condo (no stairs!) is one of only four units in the building and offers shared access to a quiet / small backyard pool. Inside, you’ll find a clean, simple space with all-tile floors, high ceilings, an eat-in kitchen counter, and a cozy corner-bench dining area—great for family meals or game nights. This property does not have a dishwasher unfortunately The condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We allow up to 8 people including babies & toddlers, though the sleeping arrangements are best suited when some guests are children. The master bedroom features a king bed and private en suite bathroom.
The guest bedroom includes a fun full-over-full bunk bed with a twin trundle underneath, offering plenty of sleeping options. The living room has a standard couch, and we provide a queen airbed for extra guests—just bring bedding if you plan to use it.
The fully equipped kitchen includes pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware, making it easy to cook and save a little money during your stay. A washer and dryer are also provided—especially helpful for families or longer trips. BBQ grills are welcome; we simply ask that grilling be done in front of the building rather than near the shared pool area.
If you’re traveling with a larger group, we manage all four condos in this building and can help you book multiple units—each is nearly identical inside.
You’ll love how close this condo is to local favorites: CVS is right at the beach access, Nautico is across the street for great dining, and you can walk to Meatball Café, Cafe Karma, Grapevine, Longboards, Tequila Sunsets, and the famous seafood buffet at Louie’s Backyard. Kids will also enjoy nearby Gravity Park with go-karts and mini golf.
While this condo isn’t newly remodeled & older, it’s fully functional, well-maintained, and professionally cleaned by South Padre Trips— the top local management team on the island.
Two off-street parking spaces are included. Up to two pets are welcome for an additional fee—just let us know. (Pets aren’t allowed in the pool area and should not be left alone if they may bark.)
Contact us for pool hours, and also we do offer very significant off season discounts Sept 15 to Dec 15th, as well for discounts for veterans & active duty military. Please reach out we can let you know we would love to host you.
Fresh Towels & bed linens are provided, as well as a starter pack of soaps and trash bags though it is not unlimited nor resupplied so please plan accordingly. We do have coffee, filters, creamer, sweetener, tea, non stick cooking spray and Salt/Pepper all in the condo too but not unlimited nor restocked
For stays longer than 3 nights, you can exchange towels and linens for free at our office, South Padre Island Trips, at 2600 Padre Blvd. Office open 7 days a week, and we answer phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week a rare thing for a host

Our listing requires the primary tenant to be 23 years of age or older and present at check-in. If you are NOT 23 years of age you MUST contact us prior to booking as there are additional damage/security deposit requirements if you are not 23 for us to comply with property rules
While we want you to have fun, this is not a party property and we do security patrol this condo property at night , FYI.
Please note we require an e-sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID after booking. This is necessary to maintain our City of South Padre Island Rental License. You may e-sign the rental agreement via E sign prior to arrival to receive your door code. Please provide your email address and attach a photo of your ID to verify your age.
An electronic door code is provided to enter the property via text message to the cell phone number on file by 3 pm on day of check in. We do not provide door codes earlier as we cannot have guests attempting to park nor slowing down maid service of course. If you need a somewhat earlier check in, contact our office on day of check in around 1 pm and we can check for you.
Nuts & Bolt Info:
Loud noises are NEVER permitted including music. Complex quiet time is 10 pm to 9 am. No Smoking * No Parties * No Exceptions - Check in is 3 pm. Check out is 11 a.m - Our short term City of South Padre Rental License can be provided upon request.

You'll have access to a comfortable, well-maintained condo with a shared pool, perfect for cooling off. BBQ grills are welcome, but grilling is only permitted in front of the building. Please note that pets are not permitted in the pool area. Fresh towels and linens are provided; for longer stays, you can exchange them at South Padre Island Trips' office.

Nestled in the heart of South Padre Island, our condo offers unparalleled access to the best the island has to offer. You're just a short stroll from the beach (approximately 100 yards), where you can spend your days soaking up the sun and enjoying the waves. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll discover a variety of dining options, from casual eateries to upscale restaurants. Popular spots like Nautico are right across the street, offering delicious meals with a view. You can also easily walk to Meatball Café, Cafe Karma, and Grapevine for diverse culinary experiences. For your shopping needs, local shops and boutiques are also within easy walking distance. Families with children will appreciate the proximity to Gravity Park, a fun-filled attraction with go-karts and mini-golf. The neighborhood is known for its friendly atmosphere and convenient location, making it easy to explore all that South Padre Island has to offer.
Getting Around:
Getting around is easy! You'll find two off-street parking spaces included with your stay. For those arriving by air, Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO) is approximately a 35-minute drive away. While South Padre Island is best explored by car, you can also utilize ride-sharing services for convenient transportation. Public transportation options are limited on the island, so a personal vehicle is recommended to fully enjoy the area's attractions. Additional free parking is available at the intermodal bus station or the post office on the island, as well as along Gulf Boulevard.
Other Things to Note:
Please take note of the following details to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. An electronic door code will be sent to the phone number on file by 3 PM on the day of your arrival. A signed rental agreement with a photo ID is required before arrival. The primary renter must be 25 years or older, unless otherwise agreed upon. Loud noises and parties are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 9 AM. The shared pool is open from 8 AM to 9 PM. Two off-street parking spaces are provided. While we provide a starter pack of essentials, including toilet paper and trash bags, these items are not replenished. Please ensure the thermostat is set to 78 degrees, all dishes are in the dishwasher and running, and all trash is taken out to the dumpster before checking out to avoid extra cleaning fees. For stays longer than two nights, consider bringing extra supplies. If you have any questions, please reach out; we are happy to assist you.
