"The only reason I put 4 stars is because we got a message basically begging us to and I felt mean not to. Big fish rentals is horrific to work with to be honest. Do not recommend. If the owners would use a different company it wouldn’t be so bad. But big fish rentals (which messages you through multiple emails and like 3 different text numbers making it sketchy) tons of times. They had us do an ID verification through a link and it said everything was good, but then they messaged us multiple...

"The property overall was pretty dirty, the unit was pretty dirty. The kitchen seats sticky, just basic things clearly not cleaned from prior people stays. Mold in the shower. If you’re depending on Lyfts/uber they will struggle to find you because of where you’re located on the property. A long walk to get to the unit. Would probably not swim in the indoor pool. We just needed a place to sleep for one night so it was fine overall but I would not have wanted to stay here for my entire trip."

"Everything was as described. We did not use the pools. The pools and pools decks need some renovation. But beach was nice na snot too crowded and I loved that there is a Sturbucks and restaurant on the property. There are not many places to eat around walking distance. I could not get that 15 min of my precious vacation time back. But...

"Missy was our host and she was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually stayed an additional night! The breakfast at the Compass Cove Resort was wonderful!!! There were plenty of pools to choose from and chairs around the pools readily available at all times! We highly recommend Compass Cove Resort and booking your stay through Missy!!"

"Room was clean, everything was as advertised. Pools in the resort were clean, and the water was a great temperature. Never had any issues getting in touch with the host. "

"The place is very convenient. Simple but good location."
