"The Hen House was a lovely retreat from the scorching Phoenix weather. We had a wonderful stay in the quiet casita between our time exploring downtown. So very grateful to our hosts--and thank you, Larry, for the extra help with loading our car! We would love to be back, and we highly reccomend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. "

"We really enjoyed our visit. We had medical appointments and it was so nice to go back and relax. It’s was quiet and comfortable. The pool, even at 107, stayed cool enough to get in. There’s shopping and some restaurants very close. Thanks so much. "

"Buddy and I stayed at the casita and it was very nice, close to the event (without being too close) in a really nice neighborhood. Beds were comfy and sheets were soft. Even had shampoo/conditioner and body wash with plenty of towels. Definitely would stay again in the future. "

"Property was great, safe and gated community, and property owners are so kind and helpful!"

"Needed a convenient place to stay close to a family member's home for a few days. This was excellent location and the casita was really nice and clean. We had a couple of issues no fault of the owner but his responses were immediate. "

"Searching for a safe place in Phoenix is difficult when you aren’t familiar with the area. This home is in a cute safe neighborhood with a comfortable bed! Everything we needed for this trip. There are some shops within 10-15 min walk but a car is needed in this area. "

"Just as advertised, lovely cozy cottage behind main home with gracious hosts and salt water pool. A gift in the city."

"Best place to chill and very central for Tempe, we would definitely stay here again! "

"Lovely guesthouse in quiet residential community convenient to many golf courses and hiking trails. Property amenities including private on-site pickleball court and pool were top-notch. Meticulously maintained guesthouse was comfortable and cozy! Would definitely recommend this property for a couple stay or 2 single travelers! "

"My husband and I came to Scottsdale for a couple of getaway days and could not have been happier with our choice of where to stay. The host is great, the home is lovely, clean, well appointed... and the neighborhood is a surprisingly quiet, walkable area adjacent to busy, accessible suburban life. Highly recommend any group of four or fewer to jump at the chance to stay here!"
