"Everything worked well. Great location. Parking is so convenient to the rooms. Setting is secluded. Staff were very helpful. A few signs of wear, like a few spots on the carpet and a crack in the sink basin, did not detract from function or cleanliness."

"It is situated next to the Wood River which was unexpected and lovely( wish we brought our fishing rods) . It is located across from a restaurant tavern which was V convenient!"

"Clean, safe, with a comfortable bed. The room was a bit shabby and in need of updating, but not objectionable. It smelled of cleaning products. The color scheme was not to my taste, but it was fine as I spent just one night."

"I'm a stickler about a clean environment. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of my room. It's the most important thing to me while staying away from home. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I have is that a sign with an arrow and the word ice should be posted at the laundry room. I had a hard time finding the ice machine."

"We only stopped for the night, but the property offered many amenities that our group would have enjoyed (sand volleyball, pool, fire pit, etc). The room was spacious and we enjoyed the laidback atmosphere."

"The hotel is older, but in good repair. We stayed in the suite annex and the mattresses were a little rough they should be replaced. The location of the property is amazing. Access to the beach and downtown Newport just minutes away. The restaurant attached to the hotel with the same name was very good."

"When you enter the shore house it’s really dark, dingy and the front desk area is very cluttered. It’s nothing like the images on the website. The bathrooms are super tiny with the sink outside in the room. The sink is so poorly constructed that you can barely wash your face or brush your teeth without getting water all over the floor. The floors of our room was dirty and sandy. The breakfast choices are awful, the almond milk was sour, the hard boiled eggs looked like they’ve been sitting out...

"I ended up not staying here because when I requested a lower level room, they gave me the key and it was immediately noticed that the room had not been cleaned in a while. The room smelled musty and the bathroom ceiling above the shower was molded. The bed linens were stained, and the 1 set of towels were well worn. There were cobwebs hanging along the edge of the ceiling and even spiders in the webs. There were carpenter ants crawling across the entryway, the microwave door would not close...

"Spotless and spacious room, nice kitchenette, easy parking, very comfortable bed, nice pool and quiet. This is my second time staying here, my favorite place to stay and I highly recommend it!"

"The staff were very personable and went out of their way to change our room. The first room was dirty, but the one we received after that had been cleaned very well. The smell of the cleaning agent was a bit overwhelming though. Everything that I saw on the property needs to be updated."

"The exercise room was below standard. Very small, with three machines. There was No exercise bench, so I had to workout on the floor. No towels available until I asked for some at the front desk. A water cooler, but no water jug in it. The weights were very old and rusty. No 5 or 10 lb, and only one 15 lb. The weight rack was very old and rust also."

"The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at the Eureka. It’s just up the hill from the farm, and you have a beautiful view of all the trees and some water. They were so clean, air conditioned, and they have a nice little outdoor shed for storage for before and after check out which made everything so simple. They have a coffee area you can make yourself too at any time of day. They even have an area for checked out guest to use the showers upstairs and outside. The free bites and sips was well worth going to...
