"We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. "

"What a wonderful gem! The accommodation is as lovely as the pictures show. Very clean and spacious and has everything you need including some outdoor space. We were pleasantly surprised by this place and it’s one of our favourite properties to date. The location is absolutely superb. Lovely trail walk to the coastal trail but secluded enough that it’s quiet and private. There’s a trail across the fields to get to a great little pub with excellent food. "My mum and I visited The Old School House to celebrate mums birthday. A 2 night girls trip stay with my dog.The property was lovely and clean, hot tub nice and hot….a little too chemically for my skin, but that can happen so it wasn’t a concern.I reported that the heating was on in one of the rooms and far too hot and the team came back to me promptly to rectify. Lovely beds.All in all a lovely few days. "
