"We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed, a bonus was the beautiful views of the river through the wide full height windows. Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk. They also didn’t service the room which meant we had to wash the cereal bowls and cups in the bathroom sink...

"The hotel is in an enviable position overlooking the bay, the ground floor was fine and well maintained. Our bedroom on the other hand was in poor condition with a shabby carpet damp patches on the walls causing the wallpaper to hang off glass missing from the outer window dirty hand marks on the doors. The bathroom is old and tired with a dangerous sloping ceiling over the bath and no blind on the window. Breakfast was fine."

"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. "Great space that serves as a wonderful retreat from the everyday. Cosy and perfect for two people, it has great access to the south of Cornwall but also serves as a good base to go and explore the rest of Cornwall if you're willing to drive. Space was nice and quiet and you'll be able to properly switch off. Just be aware that the road down to the property is a little narrow so don't be speeding your way through that country lane!"

It was very well located for the Eden project, not far from the main road, spacious with 3 bathrooms and well equipped for a home from home feel. However a car is a necessity and it’s not even feasible to go for a run/ walk from the property as it is surrounded by narrow single track roads"

The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

"Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch.
