"Unfortunately our stay was marred by the fact that the bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained the previous residents used sanitary products!!! The shower took 25 minutes to drain and, whilst we understand the logistics of old manor houses, if the plumbing is not up to standard then this should be at least mentioned on booking. "A nice place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Quite old-fashioned, more of a "self-catering" option as it's a variety of small homes that you stay in. Outstanding value for the room - mine was bigger than my flat! A little disappointed by a couple of facilities being out of use - no pool after 8pm, steam room out of order, upstairs in leisure centre off limits due to staff training, and no breakfast as the restaurant was shut. Nonetheless, I would recommend."

"Very cozy cottage, well equipped, very quiet area. 5 min walk to a local pub - food and drink. Lots of small villages with local shops (bakers, butchers, delis, etc.) to explore close by. Lot of walking trails. Parking was easy. Check in and out were simply and without hassle."
