"I had a little trouble finding the car park but the receptionist was brilliant in helping me out and giving me a pre-printed map and an accurate post code for my SatNav. Check-in was seamless. Food was excellent. Wonderful ambience in the bar. Comfy room."

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. "The staff were welcoming, very helpful & friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and looked like it had recently been refurbished. We had everything we needed & even some shortbread with our tea tray, a lovely extra touch! We ate in the bar & again both the food & service were excellent. I cannot rate our stay highly enough & we are looking forward to returning next year & using it as our base for Burghley Horse Trials. Thank you 😊"
