"The staff was nice but the room needs an upgrade. The tube was rusted, there were tiny holes in the curtain and there were missing lamp shades. There are no rugs on the floor so every time someone walks at night you can hear it. The outlet in the bathroom looks like it was coming off the wall and there was a hair dryer plugged in. I took pictures and showed them to the person at the desk the next morning. Also there needs to be a way to control the flies or provide a fly swatter to each room. It...

"Staff was very friendly and personable. Room was very clean. I found the website to be a bit deceptive with the photos and descriptions posted. Rooms may all be water “view” but not all are water “front”. Yes, there’s a view of Asateague Island and the marshes from the docks but you can’t see ponies from there—at least not w/o binoculars. It’s a good distance across that water!"

"Although there was a minor issue at check-in, it was quickly resolved. My main safety concerns are the motel's 'self check-in' system, which leaves physical keys in an unsecured box for anyone to access, and the lack of a door latch or chain for added security. Additionally, the railing leading up to the front office needs attention. However, despite these issues, the room was very clean and quiet, though it shows some wear and tear."
