"Brilliant room, fantastically old and quirky building, and wonderful staff. We had an evening meal and was disappointed the restarurant was closed but ate in the bar instead and food was good.
The only downside is the hotel is not staffed overnight, so be extra careful not to leave anything in your room before 'checking out' as you will not be able to get back in, I stupidly left my car keys in the room and although there was nothing we could do on the day the hotel were super resposnsive in...

"Beautiful location.Breakfast was basic. Staff were very friendly! I was disappointed that you had to pay extra £5 to enter the spa.
We weren’t allowed to use the gym without membership.
It’s a hotel and spa so I did not expect extra charge. Also no bathrobes even to hire. Disappointing for the money and to only receive a basic service. "

"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I had a comfortable sleep but the negative was that there was a plumbing issue in the morning so there were problems in the kitchen so we were unable to take a shower in the room and also unable have breakfast which we had paid for.
Therefore, we checked out earlier than intended
And drove home. When we called the hotel to say that we left and didn’t have breakfast, the member of staff just said oh,very sorry but it was only an hour and we did then...
