"We had a wonderful stay at The Beach Haven Resort!! Loved how small and quaint it was compared to the high rise condos. We loved the ease of walking to the beach, restaurants and beach bars. Pool was great to cool off in as well. We had the one bedroom, studio room....although small, it fit our needs perfectly; we were barely in the room. Definitely recommend this resort and would stay here again if back in St. Pete!! "

You can purchase chair $10 & umbrella $45 on upham beach. Walgreens and gas station is a good walk about $7 lyft to beach. "Would be an excellent choice if it wasn't so so outdated. The location is awesome, the beach amazing. The bar and patio area are much nicer than the rest of the hotel. The rooms have nice beds, good shower and pillows and lining. But the overall look of the decoration, walls etc bring you back to the 80's.....the layout is from a roadside motel, with outside corridors and the only window that one on the side of the entrance door. Front desk is also very old and outdated. Hopefully some fund will agree to invest a few hundred million dollars on a revamp of the property and bring it back to full glory Also please be aware of the quite high resort daily fee."
