"View off the deck is incredible, very clean,nice place."

"Our family of 9 stayed here for a week! The house is fabulous—we didn’t want to leave. We utilized the hot tub, sauna, fire pit and grill. We invited friends from town over for fresh Halibut and Salmon we caught. They told us they had all been to the house for a wedding or some function. It’s definitely a Sitka landmark. (We saw a bear and multiple bald eagles through the binoculars! ) Highly recommend this house! "

"This home on Japonski Island is a short walk into Sitka. It was amazing! Along with the constant views of beautiful Alaska out the walls of windows, this home is sparkly clean. Amenities are organized and plentiful. We were so comfortable that it was hard to leave! The owner was easy to contact and helpful. This property will not disappoint. "5 Fishermen visiting Sitka a few days prior to staying in a Lodge, needed a place to stay for 2 nights and this place fit our needs perfectly. Great kitchen for this cook and near new BBQ steps away, it was the perfect setup. Hiking trail system that connects Sitka is out the front door, very convenient. You'll need a rental car for this unit, but I'd recommend that for anyone visiting Sitka for a couple of days. I'd definitely recommend this unit, very friendly and helpful owners, great unit, "

"The home itself was fine. But what made this stay so special was the spectacular location! It's about a 10-minute drive from Sitka, which makes getting in and out of town very easy. But what's REALLY great is that the home is next to the water, and the view of Sitka Sound from the windows and backyard is amazing. I spent long stretches of time just relaxing in a chair by the water, watching the fish jumping, the boats going by, the clouds rolling in and out, the islands, the mountains, etc. The...

"This little house had a bunch of pluses—very clean, new-looking and fully functional kitchen and cooking items, Laundry room, excellent location (across the street from the fishing boat we used), and easy walking distance to “downtown”.
