We called maintenance and a gentleman who didn’t speak English at all came up to the room. He pulled the light fixture down and there was water all in there. He Google translated and told us he was going to check upstairs. He NEVER came back and no one from the front desk called to let us know what was going on. We saw him in the hall later and...

"Only one friendly staff member and he worked the desk, everyone else was rude or unable to communicate due to language barrier. The parking was awful. Away from hotel on a dirt road not well lit at night. When you are traveling alone that can be frightening. Stayed on the third floor, no working elevator n the last day with lots of luggage to bring down several flights of stairs with no help from staff. Very disappointing. Will not be back here, ever. "

"We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott."
