"PERFECT place to stay while in the area. Central to all the tourist sites. Bonus for me, I grew up in a small house across the lake from this cabin! It felt like I went back in time 50 years! I would highly recommend a stay here! Very clean, comfortable beds and stocked thoughtfully. I hope my sister and I can come stay again someday."

"House was extremely clean with comfy furniture and well stocked. Lester got back to me with answers to my questions right away. They even had local attractions and restaurant brochures to look at for making plans. The coffee, snacks and chocolate was a great treat!!! The location was great, close to town, and the trails. I couldn’t find the blow dryer that was listed. I didn’t pack mine because of the description, I was disappointed :(. A second bathroom would be great, but we made it work...

"Rental property on the inside was as photographed and described. Everything was clean, orderly and in good working condition. Place was cute and quaint. The only downside of our visit was out of the control of the property owners. The outside had thick swarms of what looked to be large gnats. After doing some research, they are midge bugs which come out in the spring starting in April and are at their worst peak in May which is when we stayed. They don't last all summer and they are everywhere,...

"We truly enjoyed this property! We stayed at the Bluff Beach Hutch. The home is huge, had a wonderful view of the water and a beach just a few steps away, with privacy! The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus more. The owners were fantastic! We would stay again in a heartbeat!"

"We had the best time vacationing at this home! Everything felt like luxury from the bedding/blankets to the bath towels. From the rugs to the kitchen! We had everything we needed to cook our dinners for our family. My parents enjoyed the back yard and watching all the different birds. We all also enjoyed the air hockey table! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the UP!"

"My husband, dogs and I needed a place to stay for two nights before heading to Mackinac Island for a week. This house was PERFECT! It was clean, cozy, awesome yard, had everything needed for a stay. "Wonderful staff, attentive and kind. Roshane at the Round Island Kitchen was phenomenal and remembered each of my kids names every time we saw him. Even when he wasn't our waiter, he checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. The cleaning staff was also extremely friendly and greeted us by name every time they saw us. This is a great place to stay on Mackinac, especially if you have kids. We also got tickets for my parents to see "The McCartney Years", and they loved it. "

The pool and hot tub were kept clean, there was a shuttle to the ferry, and a golf cart to take you to the main building in the morning.
