"Very lovely resort property at the top of a mountain road. Immaculately clean, well appointed rooms. We arrived in late afternoon but could not eat dinner in the main dining room as they have set meal times and we would have had to have waited 2 hours for a table. We, unfortunately, had to eat in a cafe-type facility which had a very limited menu and the food was just ok. The hot springs were nice and property well maintained."

"We stayed only one night at this hotel. During check-in, we received a rather unpleasant welcome that was below the standard one would expect from a hotel in this category. We were poorly attended by an older staff member who seemed stressed, rude, and impatient. Aside from that, we had a very pleasant stay. We did not end up using the onsen, although we were told it is an excellent experience. PROS: * The room was huge, and we enjoyed a beautiful view from it. * Excellent bed linens and bath...
