"This B&B was a great alternative to the Homestead resort itself. It was close enough to easily walk to the resort within a few minutes, very reasonable in cost, and the proprietors are wonderful people. "Thierry and Jessica were phenomenal hosts. This B&B is a perfect spot in the Shenandoah Valley. My wife and I enjoyed the amenities and the hospitality. Very easy walk to downtown Lexington which has numerous shops and dining options, plus the history of two great collegiate institutions and the legendary Stonewall Jackson. We loved every minute here and are excited to return again in the future. Merci!"

"We chose Friendly City as a stopover driving from Boston to Atlanta and could not have been more delighted. The innkeeper was lovely, the room was very comfortable with everything you might need from hairdryer to iron and ironing board. "Beautiful property, beautiful farm and great old House. Farm store right next by was great also. However, no TV in our room and the TV downstairs wasn’t working, also no WiFi at all. I understand getting away from it all in the beautiful country, but to have no internet was disappointing. The breakfast was made and left in fridge before we arrived. It was a tasty plate of cold cuts, fruit , cheeses. A nice hot breakfast featuring eggs and meats from their farm would have been a lot more fun. ...

Bom, mas nao maravilhoso, nem excepcional.
"O lugar é bom. Esperava um pouco mais, mas no geral foi legal. Nao tem cafe da manha gratuito o q achei negativo, ja q sabemos q o custo nao e alto pra fornecer isso aos hospedes. Jantamos no restaurante do hotel, e achamos caro pelo q foi oferecido. Entao pela experiencia foi positivo, porem nao voltaremos novamente para hospedagem. É limpinho e a senhora q atende no balcao é uma fofa. A cama era de mola e fazia barulho alto quando nos mexiamos. Enfim se tivessemos nos hospedado em Luray teria sido bem mais legal e com custo bem menor."
