Hotéis em Shap Rural, ENG

"What a great hotel. It is quite isolated, but is a little gem. Built in the 1930s, it retains many of its original art deco features and has been well maintained and sympathetically furnished for the period. After storms, we had a short power cut and I almost expected to hear a scream from a maid discovering a crime and Hercule Poirot appearing. The food was reasonable, if not sparkling but we did have a powercut in the middle of dinner and they coped admirably. The staff seemed quite...

"Met all our expectations, 10 years after our last stay. Perfect start to a long drive!"

"The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

"Food was exceptionally good with great choice. Staff pleasant and helpful."

"Exceptional stay! Beautiful breakfast, great location and very clean! Would highly recommend."

"The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of."

"The property was was pretty much as expected, The room was clean and big. The issue we had was there did not seem to be sufficent sound deading between the rooms, as we could hear voices from other rooms. Could not hear what they were saying, but could near the noise. Luckily they went to bed about the same time we did and did not wake up before we did, but it not what we wanted or expected. It was in a very isolated location. That was not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. ...

"Victor and Johanna were so friendly and warm, we felt valued. The breakfasts were delicious! The hotel was clean, comfortable and we appreciated the easy parking. Being so close to restaurants and the town center made walking about so easy. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast."

"Staff very welcoming. Food really nice and very filling. Perfect stay for us. Thankyou"

"Every thing was excellent 😍"

"Staff on front desk & restaurant were lovely; neither tv in our room worked & when asked housekeeping if anyone could help she got another 2 of her team to come check then neither of them could help us"

"We arrived in Windermere about 9pm and all restaurants was closed. We thought the hotel restaurant could be opened and we drove to the hotel. Our surprise was the hotel restaurant was closed! When we told the recepcionist (Keneth), we had not have dinner yet he crossed the world to find something for us to eat. He called an chinese restaurant in a near city, ordered our food and prepared the bar with dishes, cutlery and all stuffs to us to eat. He was the best person ever in hotels to attend...

"Booked the stay as a present for my parents and they really enjoyed their stay. They noted the food, friendliness and rooms as their highlights and things that made their stay great. The next trip to Penrith will definitely be stayed at the Agricultural Inn."

"Warm welcome and amazing, helpful staff team. Lovely clean rooms and great water pressure. Buffet style cooked breakfast was only thing that was not 100% ... one day it was all pretty dried under the lights, although the next stay it was much busier and breakfast was fresher as turnaround of stock was faster. We ate one night in the restaurant and the food was good but a little pricy, although expected for a hotel restaurant. We would definitely stay again if in the area."

"Otimo custo beneficio. O hotel é bem localizado, bom cafe da manhã, equipe simpatica e otimo quarto."

"Great room, bed, air conditioning and general vibe. Would return happily"

"Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean."
