"Lovely experience! Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious and attractive and we had our own little balcony, which was a bonus. Great gardens for a drink or two and lots of parking on site. Delicious evening meal, which was prompt and very hot. The staff were really pleasant and friendly, adding to an enjoyable stop over. They even provided us with some car screen wash when requested. Would definitely come back, as this was faultless. Thanks!"

"We really enjoyed staying at Arran Lodge. Every single thing has been meticulously & tastefully done. We felt like we were staying at a four star hotel with the loveliest owners ever! Ashtray is provided for the balcony’s if needed! A beautiful clean room with fridge, fresh milk & bottled water daily, coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, cakes! There’s a hairdryer & iron too. "Vince and Erwan were the perfect hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, and lovely to talk to. The room was beautiful, lots of lovely little touches (freshly baked lemon cake, pillow mist, selection of drinks and snacks in the room that you could pay extra for), everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We booked our stay due to a funeral, however will definitely consider Villa Marina in future for a stay under better...

"Really beautiful place with a lovely warm welcome from the hosts. Attention to detail, comfortable bed and room in general with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great location 5 minutes walk from Torre railway station and 15 minutes walk from seafront and town. Easy drive to local towns like Brixham, Dawlish, Teignmouth and about 45 mins to Plymouth. I'd stay here again definitely. "

"I had a fantastic stay at this bed and breakfast with my mum. Gary and Philip were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from, providing a perfect start to each day. The property was very clean and well-maintained. One of the best parts was how quiet and soundproof the rooms were, ensuring a restful and peaceful night’s sleep. I highly recommend this B&B for anyone."

"Lovely luxury b&b in Torquay. Room had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts are ordered the night before to save on wastage which is understandable. Owners were lovely and available if needed as there isn't a front desk. Will definitely visit again when coming to Torquay."

"We stayed overnight as we drove along the coast in summer. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with everything we needed. Our hosts were marvellous. They ensured we had everything we needed and gave recommendations for the local area. We enjoyed having a chat with them in the evening and would happily recommend their beautiful place as a great place to stay."

"Liz and Paul were very friendly and took all our requests and answered them quickly. Breakfast was out of this world. Room was very clean and plenty of sockets for all your things that needed charging, it was also very spacious. Liz was always there to answer any questions and Paul was always around but not seen very much as he was probably chained to the range dealing with all the breakfasts, but very pleasant when you did see him :-). "Really lovely little hotel (12 rooms?). Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Location very convenient for Torquay but far enough away from the noise. Beautiful 19th century property. Hosts very friendly, everyone greeted at breakfast by their names - how do they remember everyone's name??! Lovely breakfast all made to order - good variety. Would definitely stay again if in Torquay. We booked through expedia but worth looking at booking direct."

"One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. Both the big picture and the small details are delightful. Staff service was friendly with a real sense of team and purpose. I haven’t mentioned the small outdoor pool (constant 27c) or hot tub simply because I didn’t use them this time!
